SVM によってストレージが追加されると、 VSC データストアのプロビジョニングによって間接マウントが作成されます

問題

ONTAP でストレージをプロビジョニングする場合は、次のことを行うことを推奨します。

  • ボリュームと同じノードにある LIF にボリュームをマウントします
  • ボリュームのローカルではないノード上の LIF にボリュームをマウントしないでください。  これにより、ボリュームへの間接パスが作成されるため、回避する必要があります

Virtual Storage Console > Storage Systems で SVM が直接接続されている( SVM 管理 LIF を使用)場合、 Virtual Storage Console にバグが発生します。

  • VSC は、選択されたアグリゲート(ノード)に関係なく、使用可能なすべての LIF にボリュームをランダムにマウントします
  • これは予期しない動作とみなされます

次の例は、ストレージが VSC で SVM スコープ指定されている場合のこの動作を示しています。

  1. この例では、 SVM に 2 つのアグリゲートが割り当てられています。

aggr ノードの IP アドレス

aggr1_8a FAS2520-RTP-8a 10.61.75.41 、 10.61.75.46

aggr1_8b FAS2520 : RTP-8B 10.61.75.43 、 10.61.75.47

  1. また、環境内には他に 2 つのアグリゲートがあります( SVM には割り当てられていません)。

aggr ノードの IP アドレス

aggr0_FAS2520_4N_RTP_1_03_0 FAS2520 - RTP-9A 10.61.75.44 、 10.61.75.48

aggr0_FAS2520_4N_RTP_1_04_0 FAS2520 - RTP-9B 10.61.75.45 、 10.61.75.49

 

  1. 合計 6 つのデータストアをプロビジョニングしている間は、次のような動作が見られます。

1.nfs_01 : VSC で選択された aggr1_8a 、 node8a : 10.61.78.48 にマウントされたボリューム、 node9a :間接

2.nfs_02 : VSC で選択された aggr1_8b 、ノード 8b : 10.61.75549 にマウントされたボリューム、ノード 9b :間接

3.nfs_03 : VSC で選択された aggr1_8a 、 node8a : 10.61.75546 にマウントされたボリューム、 node8a : Direct

4.nfs_04 : VSC で選択された aggr1_8b 、ノード 8b : 10.61.747 、ノード 8b : Direct にマウントされたボリューム

5.nfs_05 : VSC で選択された aggr1_8a 、 node8a : 10.61.75.44 、 node9a にマウントされたボリューム: indirect

6.nfs_06 : VSC で選択された aggr1_8b 、ノード 8b : 10.61.76.748 にマウントされたボリューム、ノード 9b :間接

 

  1. さらに、 VSC > Storage Systems > SVM1 > Related Objects > NAS に移動すると、 Data Path Access フィールドが空になります。

 

 

この動作は、ストレージがクラスタレベルで Virtual Storage Console > Storage Systems に追加された場合は表示されません。

  • クラスタスコープのストレージを使用すると、 VSC は SVM と選択されたアグリゲートに基づいて、どの LIF にマウントするかを正しく評価します
  • クラスタスコープストレージを使用する場合、 VSC は直接パスのベストプラクティスに従います
