用語 

  • パートナーパス:パートナーノードを使用してローカルノードでホストされている LUN にアクセスする LUN へのパス。  LUN はアクティブ - アクティブクラスタ内にあります。
  • 非プライマリパス:パートナーパス、プロキシパス、およびセカンダリパスと同義です。  すべてが非プライマリパスの例です。
  • FCP ターゲットポート: FCP サービスをホストに提供するファイバチャネルインターフェイス。
  • Virtual Target Interconnect ( VTIC ):イニシエータグループリストに表示される仮想 FCP ターゲットインターフェイス。  VTIC は、イニシエータがセカンダリパスにアクセスできることを示すために使用されます。

問題の説明

SAN では、ホストが LUN にアクセスできるように複数のパスが提供されることがよくあります。SAN の冗長性を最大限に高めるには、ホスト OS でマルチパス I/O ( MPIO )ソフトウェアを使用する必要があります。MPIO ソフトウェアは、使用可能なすべてのパスを監視し、オペレーティングシステムに使用するパスを決定します。  2.6 シリーズカーネルをベースとした Linux ディストリビューションでは、 DM-Multipath と呼ばれる Device Mapper プラグインが使用されています。DM :パスのフェイルオーバーに加えて、 I/O のロードバランシングを可能にするために、同じプライオリティのパスをグループ化します。DM-Multipath では、 mpath_prio_netapp や mpath_prio_ontap などのコールアウトプログラムを使用して、プライマリパスとセカンダリパスを区別します。システムは、 Device Mapper デバイスを使用して、この LUN へのすべての I/O を実行する必要があります(例 /dev/mapper/mpath0 )を指定すると、 dm-multipath はプライマリパスに属する SCSI デバイスにルーティングされます。  次のプロセスでは、 MPIO 構成を確認する方法について説明します。MPIO 構成のセットアップ手順については、 FCP Linux Host Utilities に記載されています。
