After unplugging the ISL, the following alert is generated in ONTAP, but no SNMP alert is sent out:

FR11BST1::> event log show Time Node Severity Event

------------------- ---------------- ------------- ---------------------------

2/28/2024 06:48:03 FR11BST1-1 ALERT hm.alert.raised: Alert Id = SwitchIslIfDownWarn_Alert , Alerting Resource = FR1-1B11-S-9336-01(FLM264202JJ)/Ethernet1/15 raised by monitor ethernet-switch

Once it's reconnected, an hm.alert.cleared is received in ONTAP, and a SNMP alert is sent out. The following error is seen in the notifyd logs:

Tue Mar 12 2024 08:07:15 +00:00 [kern_notifyd:info:2372] 0x80a47a200: 0: ERR: EMS::SNMP_HANDLER: Unable to send the event to mgwd. Reason: The event size is greater than the allowed maximum buffer size which is 2016
