ジャンクションパスが/vol/volnameのボリュームを作成するか、ボリュームをジャンクション/vol/volnameにマウントすると、エラーfailed to create or determine if a junction exists...が発生します

手記:ジャンクションの作成や /volnameへのマウントは問題なく機能します。
