次の手順では、プライマリおよびセカンダリの7-Modeボリュームを移行するプロセス、および移行中にSnapMirror関係を保持する方法について大まかに説明します。

  1. すべての7-Modeセカンダリボリュームを含むセカンダリプロジェクトを作成
  2. プライマリプロジェクトをすべてのプライマリ7-Modeボリュームで構成
  3. プライマリ7-Modeの詳細をセカンダリプロジェクトに追加し、セカンダリクラスタSVMの詳細をプライマリプロジェクトに追加します。
  4. ベースラインを開始し、最初にセカンダリプロジェクトを完了(カットオーバー)します。セカンダリプロジェクトが完了すると、7-ModeプライマリボリュームとセカンダリクラスタSVMボリュームの間にSnapMirror関係が作成されます。
  5. ベースラインを開始し、プライマリプロジェクトを完了します。プライマリプロジェクトの完了(カットオーバー)処理は、セカンダリプロジェクトの完了(カットオーバー)後にのみ実行されます。プライマリプロジェクトの完了処理中は、 7-Mode Transition Toolでは、7-ModeプライマリボリュームとセカンダリクラスタSVMボリュームの間のSnapMirror関係が削除され、プライマリクラスタSVMボリュームとセカンダリクラスタSVMボリュームの間にSnapMirror関係が作成されます。

7-Mode Transition Toolを使用してプライマリ7-Modeボリュームを移行する場合は、セカンダリクラスタSVMの情報をプライマリプロジェクトに指定します。セカンダリクラスタSVMは、移行したセカンダリ7-ModeボリュームをホストするターゲットSVM(つまり、 セカンダリプロジェクトにターゲットSVMとして追加されるSVM)。これらの詳細は、プライマリプロジェクトの完了(カットオーバー)処理中にプライマリSVMボリュームとセカンダリSVMボリュームの間にVolume SnapMirror関係を作成するためにプライマリプロジェクトで必要になります。
