重複排除の変更履歴はどのように機能しますか。

変更ログには、データブロックの変更が記録されます。重複排除が開始されると、 Data ONTAP は変更ログを参照してデータの重複排除を行い、重複排除プロセスが完了すると変更ログをクリアします。

ChangeLog は、最大サイズ 8 TB までのブロックの変更レコードを保持できます。


この最大サイズは変更できません。

変更ログのサイズが 64 GB の場合、変更ログは 8 TB 分のデータがボリュームに書き込まれるまで新しい書き込みを継続します。

8TB ユーザデータ = ボリューム内のデータブロック(ブロックサイズあたり 4K ) 2,648
個のフィンガープリントサイズ = 32 バイト
。したがって、サポートされる変更サイズの合計 = 2,648 × 32 バイト = 64GB

この制限を超えようとすると、 Data ONTAP は変更ログへの変更の書き込みを停止し、次のメッセージを syslog に書き込みます。

Thu Mar 25 04:54:39 GMT [nss-u55/nss-u56: sis.changelog.full:warning]:Change logging metafile on volume [host][vol] is full and can not hold any more fingerprint entries.

現在の使用状況を確認するには、次の適切なコマンドを使用します。
  • 7-Mode の場合: :

sis status -l
最後の操作サイズを実行、 changelogusage に現在のステータスが表示されます。

重複排除プロセスを開始し、変更ログをクリアするには、次の適切なコマンドを使用します。
7-Mode の場合: :

sis startコマンドは重複排除プロセスを開始し、変更ログをクリアします。
sis startただし、コマンドを単独で実行しても、変更ログがいっぱいになっても、変更されたブロックは処理されません。したがってsis start -s、この場合はすべてのデータの重複排除を実行するコマンドを実行します。

::>volume efficiency start -vserver <vserver name> -volume <vol name>

::>volume efficiency start -vserver <vserver name> -volume <vol name> -scan-old-data true
