SMB 署名の負荷が大きいと、ネットワーク CPU ドメインの SMB3 レイテンシが高くなります

環境

  • 9.7より前のバージョンのONTAP
  • SMB3
  • SMB2

問題

  • Unified Manager(Grafana)でSMBのレイテンシが高くなっています。
    • レイテンシの内訳セクションでは、レイテンシの大部分が Network または CPU N-blade(パフォーマンスの監視に使用するツールに応じて)で表示されます。
  • 影響を受けるSVMが大量 のSMB3またはSMB3.1接続を使用している

  • 影響を受けるSVMは署名されたセッションを持ち、1秒あたりにかなりの量のデータが署名されている

  • ネットワークCPUが必ずしも飽和しているとは限らない
    • 平均CPU使用 率が高くない可能性がある
    • Nwk_Exmpt systat -MからのCPUドメイン
  • NFSやiSCSIなど、他のプロトコルも影響を受ける可能性があります。SMB署名ワークロードと同じネットワークスレッドに対して完了する必要があるため
