ボリュームの自動サイズ変更とは何ですか？
  • ボリュームの自動サイズはONTAPのポリシーベーススペース管理機能で、ボリュームがほぼ満杯の場合、ボリュームを段階的に増やすことができます
  • ほぼ満杯のしきい値はフラグwafl_reclaim_thresholdによって定義されます
  • 利用可能なスペースよりも大きい書き込みがノードに送信された場合、ONTAPは volume fullメッセージで書き込みに失敗する前に、できるだけ多くの書き込みを試みます
    • 次のチェックでは、空き容量の最小しきい値に達するまで、ボリュームが段階的に増加します
    • つまり、autosizeは使用するにつれて成長すると説明するのが最適であり、需要に応じて成長するとは異なります。これは、しきい値と成長増分を計画する際に覚えておくべき区別です
  • ボリュームの自動サイズ変更は、ボリュームを無限に拡大するものではないことに注意してください。
    • ボリュームは最大自動サイズ値に達するまで増加し、その後はそれ以上スペースが割り当てられません
  • growモードとgrow_shrinkモードは、Snapshotの自動削除と連携して、ボリュームがいっぱいになりそうになったときに自動的に領域を解放します。ボリュームパラメータ-space-mgmt-try-firstは、これら2つの領域解放ポリシーが試行される順序を制御します
